Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Agpro Consulting Private Limited (“we,” “us”), operator of IndiaMillets at https://indiamillets.com, collects, uses, and protects information when you browse the platform or submit a form. We keep this policy in plain language wherever the underlying compliance requirement allows.

2. Information we collect

Information you submit directly. If you use the List Your Business form, we collect the fields on that form: contact name, company name, email, phone (and alternate phone), WhatsApp number, website, business category, city/state, description, service network, annual export volume, and — where applicable — FSSAI number, GST number, APEDA number, and PLISMBP-beneficiary status. If you email or WhatsApp us directly, we collect whatever you choose to send us.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we log standard technical data (browser type, referring page, pages visited, approximate location from IP) via analytics tooling (Google Analytics and Google Search Console). For abuse prevention on form submissions, we record a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address, salted and never reversible back to the original address — we do not store raw IP addresses against form submissions. We also record UTM parameters and referrer where present, to understand which channels bring visitors to the platform.

Cookies. We use cookies or equivalent local storage only as needed for analytics. We do not run third-party advertising trackers at this time.

3. How we use this information

• To review, verify, and publish business listings;
• To respond to inquiries sent via the contact form, email, or WhatsApp;
• To understand aggregate traffic and content performance (via analytics), so we can prioritise what to cover next;
• To detect and rate-limit abusive or automated form submissions; and
• To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations applicable to Agpro Consulting Private Limited.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use listing or contact-form data to send marketing you did not ask for.

4. Who we share information with

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the platform, each of which processes data on our behalf under its own terms: Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting), and Google (Analytics and Search Console). Approved business listings are published publicly on the platform by design — the business name, category, contact details, and description you submit for a listing are intended to be visible to site visitors and search engines. We do not otherwise share your personal information with third parties except where required by law, to enforce our Terms of Use, or with your explicit consent.

5. Data retention

We retain listing-form submissions for as long as needed to process and, where approved, display the listing, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and dispute resolution. Hashed IP values used for rate-limiting are retained only as long as operationally necessary. You can ask us to delete personal information you have submitted at any time (see §7).

6. Payments

The platform does not currently process payments or store payment card data. If paid features are introduced, payments will be handled by a licensed third-party payment processor under its own privacy and security terms, and this policy will be updated accordingly before that feature launches.

7. Your rights and how to reach us

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw consent for a listing to remain published, by writing to millets@agproconsulting.com or via WhatsApp at +91 92093 28498. We will respond within a reasonable time. This email address also serves as our grievance/privacy contact for the purposes of applicable Indian IT rules.

8. Children

The platform is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above.
